Express Truck Repair

I hesitated to write this review, but I feel it's necessary given my recent experience. Following my husband's passing, I contacted his mechanic regarding his truck, hoping to make necessary repairs before selling it. While the mechanic provided some helpful information, there were several aspects of the interaction that left me disappointed.

Firstly, despite my husband's prior dealings with Express Truck Repair, where he was promised repairs that never materialized, the mechanic seemed dismissive when I reminded him of this issue. This lack of accountability was concerning, especially given the trust my husband had placed in him.

Furthermore, the mechanic's failure to communicate effectively was frustrating. He promised to provide information within a specific timeframe but failed to follow through, leaving me to chase him for updates. This lack of professionalism only added to my stress during an already difficult time.

Additionally, the mechanic charged me $120 despite not performing any work on the truck. This felt unfair, especially considering he had failed to address previous damages that he had initially agreed to fix.

Most disappointingly, I later discovered that the value of the truck was significantly lower than I had been led to believe. It's disheartening to think that the mechanic didn't communicate this information honestly from the outset, especially given my vulnerability following my husband's passing.

Moreover, the mechanic provided me with a quote that was $900 higher than the actual mechanic I ended up taking the truck to, Trusted Auto & Truck Service Inc. The mechanic at Trusted Auto & Truck Service Inc passionately advised me not to spend any money on the truck and instead recommended selling it as is, which ultimately proved to be the right decision.

In conclusion, my experience with this mechanic left a sour taste in my mouth. While I had hoped for understanding and support during a challenging time, I instead encountered unfulfilled promises, poor communication, and ultimately, a sense of betrayal. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others and prompts the mechanic to reflect on their approach to customer service and honesty.

Great service , my truck was repaired properly in under 30 minutes. The invoice came in way under the initial estimate. I will definitely be back
