Summers and Smith Cooling & Heating Limited

On July 1st (Canada day), where the temperatures soared to above 40°C with the humidex, my A/C decided to stop working. The next morning at 8am I called Summers and Smith expecting a visit within a couple days as I knew there would be many people in my predicamemt due to the heat wave. They assured me someone would be there between 10 and 12 that same day.
JACE GORDON, their technician, showed up at 1105, greated me with a huge smile and said "whats going on .....how can i help?" For the next hour I was amazed at the level of service he provided the pride he took in his work. This is what I received during that hour interaction.
1. A young man who not only loved his job but loved working for Summers and Smith
2.Extremely professional
3. Explained everything that he was doing.
4. Gave me advice on how to care for my AC unit to it lasts longer.
5.checked then double checked that the system was repaired properly.
6.explained how the HVAC system worked and how to not only maintain it myself but how to optimize its operation summer and winter.
7.listened to my inquiries and replied with enthusiasm (and im sure some of my questions were dumb). Needless to say that my experience with Jace was most likely the best that I have had of any service person that has come to my home. Summers and Smith : Do not let this young man slip through your fingers. He is exaclty what every young tradesperson should aspire to be.

We just had our pool heater inspected and Jace was wonderful! He was not only very professional in his manner and pleasant to deal with, but he took the time to explain everything. I would highly recommend this company for any of the services they provide.

Summers and Smith technicians Michael and Vish worked very hard to successfully get my older air conditioning unit working again. During a period of extreme heat warnings, they were busy and slightly delayed by a rain storm, but called me to advise when they would arrive.
I was worried that I would have to replace the air conditioning unit due to its age, which was estimated at several thousand dollars when I called the office. I appreciate that the techs took the time to diagnose and fix the unit and did not just recommend replacement.
Summers and Smith technicians are always friendly and polite. I am a long time client and would definitely recommend supporting this local company.
