It's how you deal with adversity that defines your commitment to customer service.
There was an unfortunate issue that Bryan did everything to make right. No deflection, no excuses, he owned it and just fixed the problem. Professional, yet personal and a testament to how business should be done.
In a world that lacks accountability and credibility it is refreshing to see that some businesses still understand what these words mean.
Highly Recommend.
Terrible customer service
Bad diagnostics: CKP is before ECU when signaling.
False (imaginary) compression test results.
Beeing bullshitted (reason I did not trust and done diagnostic myself)
Communication was polite.

Wasn't able to work on my vehicle due to sudden overseas travel.

Gave Bryan following description:
Won't start cold, starts on a sunny day, temperature dependant. Starter is strong.
ODB scan got me 2 codes related with sensors.
Not having spark.
Throttle position sensor, coolant temp sensors, distributor cap replaced.
Told him to look at the crank position sensor and change it if it's faulty, that it's like that.

Was called to take the car asap when I arrive back. I towed it. They called me to pay the bill I did.
Was charged $595.75.
For battery charging and ECU replacement.
Was told there's low compression on all cylinders 70psi, leak down test pointed to exhaust valves big time. Result: sorry mate you gotta get the head out and service it at machine shop.
Something told me that this is very odd.

My compression test:
1)150psi 2)135psi 3)135psi 4)145psi
That's quite different, lower on the middle ones but no reason for no start.

Took plastic underbody out - wasn't touched.
Tested CKP with multimeter.
1.6 kΞ© = resistance too high
12β40 mV = very low signal
Tried to heat it up with slightly better results. Even started it for a while.
So I asked to have a look at CKP because it was next logical step in diagnosis. They didn't look at it, charged me $600 for something else and told me to get the head serviced, they don't do it here.

So I changed it myself and car is happy an running. Even found out that engine mount is broken, I replaced that aswell, parts under $100, my time about 2 hours.

But I get it, there's AC+PSteering+alternator belts+flywheel in the way to get to the sensor, that's too much work. It's probably much better to fiddle around easy parts upstairs, change something that won't fix it and charge big $$.
So I naturally asked for a refund for a bad job with a reply that he's gonna be considering that but before I need to pay 3k storage fees for storing the car in the meantime, not prior mentioned, nothing on the website. The car was there 3 months because you couldn't change the damn CKP sensor I asked for, non operational.
This really pissed me off.
AVOID.
11pm on a rainy Saturday night 300 kms from home with a flat tire - the friendly staff member with Standish (regret not getting his name!) save my friend and me. He was very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you!!
