AJ’s Mobile Car Detailing Barrie

We hired AJ’s Detailing to clean our vehicle, including 1 small stains on the passenger seat from throw up, and 2 small stains on the back seats and some salt stains on the driver floor. The booking process was straightforward, 11am in the morning used his site and called to schedule him and we agreed a scheduled for 5:00 PM However, after being told (At 4PM) he would arrive between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, he didn’t arrive until approximately 6:15 PM.

There was also some confusion regarding pricing. During the initial phone call, I was told the seat stain and salt stains would be an additional charge of 40$. When AJ arrived, he stated he wasn’t aware of the salt stains and attempted to charge extra $25 for them.

I stated that I would clean the car myself because I wasn’t happy with the extra charges and late arrival. After discussing it, we agreed to proceed with the originally discussed total price.

To his credit, the overall vehicle was cleaned well. The interior looks much cleaner, the plastics were detailed nicely, and the vehicle generally looks great. However, the main reason for the additional charge was to address the seat stain and salt stains, He also missed the seat belt that was discussed about when he arrived and unfortunately those areas showed little to no improvement after the service.

Overall, the general detailing work was good, but the communication, arrival time, and results on the specific problem areas we paid extra to have cleaned left us disappointed.
