National Auto Glass Brampton

Unfortunately, I found National Auto Glass to have poor communication skills and poor customer service.<br><br>On the day I requested service, I called around 11:52am to inquire about their mobile service for a smashed passenger window. The receptionist told me that they could fix it that same day, and that someone would arrive at 4:30pm. They asked me to text my address to a different phone number. I texted my information and no one responded to confirm receipt of information.<br><br>No one showed up at 4:30pm. I called the receptionist to check in as to why no one showed up. They told me they would find out and call me back. No one called me back.<br><br>I called the phone number where I sent the text message to. Someone answered saying that they didn't have the glass requested in stock, but that they would repair the glass the next day and call me in the morning at 8am to confirm a time.<br><br>The next morning, no one called me at 8am. I called them at 9am to inquire about what time someone would come to fix the glass, and they said they didn't have the glass in stock and that no one was coming. And that was it. They didn't provide any other options to provide me service.<br><br>I understand that they didn't have the glass in stock, but I would have greatly appreciated clear communication from the beginning, so that I at least didn't have to waste my time waiting around. I could have found another company to assist me.

Fair price and very responsive to my questions. They completed the work quickly and with no fuss. They are mobile so it worked well.

I went to the National Auto Glass website to get a quote and Ray called back within an hour or so to discuss cost and timing. An appointment was set up for Wed 12-3pm and the technician came within the time frame (1:46pm). He did the work and replaced the windshield. However, when he was done, he informed me that he had lost the screw to our rear-view mirror. We spend 30-45 minutes looking for this screw but with no luck. He called his office and then informed me that he would need to get a screw for the office so he would return Thursday. I was billed and paid for the service in full $678.<br><br>I spoke to Ray and he coordinated a return visit to address the outstanding work (re-attaching my rear-view mirror) which he arranged for a tech to come Friday and fix. The tech came and attached but due to a defect in the windshield the mount was too low and the mirror cover did not fit properly. Due to this defect they would have to remove the mirror mount and adjust which is a risky exercise as it could shatter the whole windshield, especially remotely and not in the shop. Ray arranged for me to drive to Advantage Auto Glass an affiliate and in a couple hrs It was all fixed and taken care of. Excellent job.
