Not the same WeatherTech it used to be…

The issue itself was simple: the floor mats I received did not fit the intended vehicle.

What should have been a straightforward customer service matter became an unnecessarily frustrating experience.

Poor customer service from Dave only added to the problem. He was clearly frustrated and unwilling to work toward resolving the issue, leaving the actual problem unaddressed and simply dumping it on a manager, whom which I am yet to speak.

WeatherTech built its reputation on quality products and exceptional customer service. In the past, I found the company to be customer focused and genuinely committed to standing behind its products.

Based on this recent experience, that commitment appears to have diminished, which is disappointing.

Mats are good quality but sadly customer service in the store is not. It was confirmed on the phone multiple times before pickup that the store staff would install the mats free of charge. At pickup, they were requested to install them, but claimed that is a separate job entirely, and anyone can do it. While it isn’t difficult to do, that’s not the point. The mats were being picked up by my dad who needed assistance getting them installed in his car, but the store staff chose not to assist even though we spent almost $400. I reached out to call centre support afterwards to file the complaint, and he said “we’re not taking notes on that”. Rude customer service all around after securing an expensive order.
