Very disappointing experience. After the service was completed, I was told that my car would not start and had to be jump-started. The battery test reportedly showed only 40% health.

The estimate listed $50 for “battery replacement,” but I later learned that this was only the labour charge. The battery itself would cost more than $250, which was not clearly shown upfront.

The service advisor Gabriel told me that, if I don't want the new battery, they could put the old battery back, but the car might not start. That made the situation feel pressured and uncomfortable.

Customers should be given the full parts-and-labour price before being asked to approve a repair. Existing customers should review the estimate carefully, ask for a complete breakdown, and confirm exactly what will happen if they decline the recommended work.
I had a very disappointing experience with Destination Honda’s service department.

I brought my vehicle in for a rim repair under my Honda Plus protection plan. Instead of helping me resolve the issue with Honda Plus or the warranty administrator, I was eventually told that the matter was “beyond the dealership level” and that I should contact the warranty company myself.

I understand that the final coverage decision may be made by the warranty provider. However, as a customer, I expect a Honda dealership to help coordinate that process rather than send me back and forth through emails and phone calls and ultimately hand the problem back to me. I work 9–5 as well; I should not have to spend my working hours doing the administrative follow-up that I expected the service department to handle.

What makes this especially disappointing is that I previously had the same type of rim repair handled through Alberta Honda, and the experience was significantly smoother. Compared with that level of service, my experience at Destination Honda was far below expectations.

If the dealership’s approach is simply to tell customers to contact Honda Plus or the warranty administrator themselves whenever an issue requires escalation, I see little value in going through their service department.

I will be trying other Honda dealerships for future service.
Great service and highly recommended
Kenny was awesome! Thank you for caring my vehicle. See you soon : )
