Urban Expressions Wheel & Tire Inc

Was given a clear timeline before dropping my wheels off, only to be told afterward that it would take significantly longer. If they had been upfront from the beginning, I never would have left the wheels there. Poor communication and a frustrating waste of time.

Edit ( response to reply ):

I spoke with Jeff beforehand, explained the entire job and my August 19 deadline, and was told you were “wide open” and that it was doable. I confirmed the same deadline again in person with the technician after showing him the wheels.

That commitment was the reason I was willing to leave the wheels and proceed with a nearly $1,700 job. Only afterward was I told the powder coater could take up to 3 weeks, with no alternative available.

I ultimately took the wheels to another reputable shop that completed the work within my original deadline. UrbanX was also the most expensive quote I received, so I expected the timeline I was given to be honoured.

We hit a large pothole on are way to Calgary and blew the front tire and bent the rim on are Mini Cooper . We got a tow to the tire shop and found out how bad the rim was bend so I called Urban X . They straightened the rim back to factory spec in record time. We are very impressed with their service and professional customer care.

I had UrbanX install new tires for me on my M3 this week and as always, I've been getting fast, friendly and incredible service from the entire team for all of my cars (everything from my X5 to my Ferrari F430) and those of my family and friends. Sometimes I'm there for just two tires, sometimes a set of four and others just a rebalance (their road force balancing equipment is the ONLY way to go). They always carry the brand of tires I want and at unbeatable prices. These guys are, and always will be, my go-to's in Calgary for all four of my cars and I try and send everyone there that I can as being treated like family goes a long way for me.

Fantastic service, great price.

Knowledgeable, efficient, honest and affordable.
