Fix Auto repaired my car damage and I had a great experience through the whole situation. They were professional and welcoming to all my questions and updates. Very satisfied. Shout out to Ashley in the office and all the boys in the shop who performed the necessary work involved. Thank you.

**BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY**
I felt compelled to write this review after the horrible experience I had dealing with this company.
I brought my car in on November 10, 2025 to get repaired after a hit and run. This shop was recommended by my insurance company since I did not know if any local body shops, I took the recommendation.
I was told the repair would be 5 business days. I did not receive my car back until November 28th (14 business days).
The communication on that car status was very poor and I felt I needed to chase for a status update. Still I am a patient person and let it go.
When I picked up my car on November 28, I was told that the tow hitch cover was missing and would be available in 2 weeks. I didn't like the fact that I would have to drive around with what looks like a big hole in my front bumper, but again, I patiently agreed and called back in 2 weeks. No tow hitch on that time. The Tow hitch did not arrive until January 13!! I followed up on 5 different occasions and was give the run around about the missing part. When I finally picked it up in January I expressed my displeasure with my experience and was told by Cheryl the receptionist that she would offer me a complementary full detailing that I could claim in the spring/summer to compensate for the issues. I gladly agreed and she said she would put a note in my file so that when I call it would be there for me.
I called in May as the weather finally got nice to claim this offer. Reception tells me "There is no notes in my file and they are surprised by this because the company does not do detailing". It's one thing to be unprofessional and tardy as a business, but to lie to a customer to get them out of your face is a new level of low. I was told to call the regional manager (Rob) the next day. I called and was told he didn't come in but someone would call me back. It is now June 5th and no call back and 0 regard for customer satisfaction.
This company is unprofessional and deceitful and I will be filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and my insurance about this matter.
A company that operates in this manner and treats its customers like they don't matter just because they are getting paid by the insurance company should not be in business.
Save yourself the headache and take your car elsewhere.

Honestly, the car doesn’t look bad, but let me tell you!!!! OMG!!!!
Don’t take your car there, I had stone chips all over hood, roof, quarter panel, and front bumper and grill. It was an insurance job, told 2-3 weeks to repaint! 6 weeks later and twice they told me I had to pay for extra work, that was covered by insurance. Then they had to do a four wheel alignment before they would calibrate the sensors to the new windshields, why are they driving my car for a paint job, and to me the car was only 3 months old! No pulling to either side!!!
Don’t let them bully you into extra work!!!! And more $$$$
PS couldn’t give them ZERO STARS!!!!

I waited more than six months before writing this review (Should have given 0 stars if I could) to give the company ample opportunity to resolve the issues and complete the repairs. Unfortunately, my experience with Fix Auto Cambridge was extremely disappointing.

Following a hit-and-run accident in November 2025, my insurance company recommended Fix Auto Cambridge. As this was my first accident, I relied on their guidance and expertise. After inspecting my vehicle, I was told the repairs would take approximately three days.

After leaving my vehicle with them, I received no updates for over a week and a half. Concerned about the status of my repair and the rental vehicle provided through my insurance, I contacted my insurance company to request an extension. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Fix Auto Cambridge criticizing me for contacting my insurer and telling me I would receive my vehicle soon. While I found this response unprofessional, I chose to overlook it.

Another week passed without any communication before I was informed that my vehicle was ready for pickup. However, after arriving at the shop and signing the release paperwork, I was then told that certain parts had not yet arrived and that I would need to bring the vehicle back once they were available. This information had not been disclosed beforehand. I was advised that the parts would arrive within two weeks.

After waiting three weeks without any updates, I contacted the shop again and was informed that the parts were on backorder, but no timeline could be provided. A month later, after attempting to follow up again, my calls were repeatedly sent to voicemail, and it appeared my number had been blocked. When I notified my insurance company about the situation, I immediately received a message from the shop stating that the wrong parts had been ordered and that they were now waiting for the correct ones.

The lack of communication continued. On another follow-up, I was informed that staffing changes had occurred and that no one could provide accurate information regarding my repair status. I was promised a callback that never came. Once again, communication only resumed after involving my insurance company.

This cycle continued for months, with little to no proactive communication, shifting explanations, and repeated delays. To date, I have not received a satisfactory resolution or consistent updates regarding the outstanding repairs.

For comparison, I was involved in another no-fault accident afterward and had my vehicle repaired by CARSTAR. Despite the damage being more extensive, CARSTAR completed all repairs, including plastic molding and related work, within the timeframe they originally quoted and maintained clear communication throughout the process.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fix Auto Cambridge. The prolonged delays, lack of transparency, poor communication, and repeated failure to follow through on commitments made what should have been a straightforward insurance repair into a frustrating and unnecessarily stressful experience.
