Ed was so kind this week, talking to me and looking into my Audi’s engine troubles, despite it being a long weekend. I had heard from a few people in town that he knows European cars. He has been responsive, sent me pictures of my oil, explained why shavings in the oil was bad news, looked at my service receipts from Audi to figure out what might have gone wrong. He prepared me to talk to Audi’s service department about my car, even though it means he might not get my business if they decide to pay for the issues. It’s hard to find someone to trust when you’re talking thousands of dollars in repairs, especially if mechanical issues and vocabulary are not a strength for me. Thank you, Ed!
