Canadian Tire

Feels like employees intentionally avoid customers. Try to buy locked up tools and there's absolutely nobody around to unlock the cabinets and walk them to the front. Been here for like 20 minutes now. Had one person walk past with a store shirt on and it felt like they were intentionally ignoring me. Really need better customer service training.

​I wanted to leave a review specifically for Crystal to recognize her outstanding customer service. I called in, and she was incredibly helpful over the phone. She has been an amazing help to my dad, and we both really appreciate her time, patience, and effort. Thank you, Crystal, for going above and beyond!

Went to Chatham Canadian Tire looking a blackstone as we were already in town and we found a different brand that we liked but they were out of stock, so we asked if they would sell the demo. The young lady asked a manager and his reply.... yes but we add $75.00 to the price because we have to assemble one when it comes in. EXCUSE ME???? My husband asked her why do we have to pay for your staff to do it when they already get paid to do that...I said so your going to lose a $500 sale over $75.00 and their reply, sorry that is policy. That is the biggest line of BS I have ever heard in my life and a good friend of mine is a Manager at a different store, so we purchased from her and she said that wasnt policy so we will never return to Chatham store. In all my 53 years never have I ever heard of store losing a big sale like that! I have worked retail before and if that was me being asked I would have helped load it for God sakes not say no cus staff is to lazy to build one lol who knows maybe that 75 was going in his pocket 😅 well it isn't coming from this customer!
