Great guy and fair prices!

I took my car in as my door lock was frozen shut. We had a discussion where he agreed that the seal or water barrier needed to be replaced because water was leaking in and freezing the mechanism. He said that I would have to leave it with him two days because he was busy and that once the door panel was opened he would call me with an estimate and info. A week goes buy and no call. I call him and he tells me the work was done and the bill is $340.00 plus tax. Not only did I not authorize the work but there was not estimate.
To make things worse he didnt replace the lock or the vapor barrier and he refused to provide a 90 day warranty as required by law. Instead he wanted 4 hours work for removing a door panel, spraying WD40 on the lock and putting the panel back He also stated that if the lock froze up the next day ( which it will because the vapor barrier wasn't replaced) I'm out $340 not his problem.
I contacted several shops and all quoted me around the same with new lock , vapor barrier and warranty.
I made him multiple offers to pay his full price as long as I recieved the warranty and he refused. I have it all on my text messages with him to prove.
To make things worse when I got my car and tried to talk to him near the doorway he assaulted me.
