Update 2026. The Transmission failed 80k km. City Driving to work like I did for the first Original Transmission that made it to 170k. Oil changes had 3 in 80k. Turns out that engine light that was on for a long time they never checked to see it was Transmission codes. I assumed ot was an O2 sensor .<br><br>I am getting it rebuilt again and will update in a few years if ever because I bet I will get more than 80 k.<br><br>They do good work and are very nice to Deal with. What I have learned though and take this into consideration.<br><br>My Tranny went on my Van. I was calling around for a quote. They offer a free Tow and evaluation. What I did not realize was that they would need to take it apart for further investigation at a cost of 800.00. It just seems like a step that is almost certain to happen if you have a transmission failure and I may have made a different decision if I had known that this might be the case.<br><br>You see at this point I am not able to get a second opinion. They had me for this first 800.00 at this point.<br><br>There seems to be a salesman tactic and the owner is very good at what he does to get you into the shop at all costs. Don't get me wrong. He seems honest, he's just good and setting the hook. I did check the reviews but these reviews are not unbiased as you have an incentive to make post a review.<br><br>I am happy with the work. The job cost about 6500.00 for a vehicle worth maybe 6k.<br><br>Just keep this in mind before you take the free tow. Ask al lot of questions and don't rush.<br><br>I hope this helps someone before you are in a situation that you feel forced into.<br><br>2nd thing is the optional warranty and what they don't tell you in advance. You MUST bring it to them each year for servicing for it to be valid. They will not accept servicing at your Dealer. Keep that yearly price on your mind. You can't shop around.<br><br>If you know that you want it fixed I do recommend them.<br><br>I wish I put this 6800 into a new vehicle.<br><br>Have a great Day.<br><br>I took 2 Stars off for each of the items I felt they could have gave me a heads up on in advance as they do this work everyday (They know ) and we my go a lifetime without needing a transmission not to mention the the reviews are not completely unbiased as they are given with the offers of compensation.<br><br>I posted this review on Google and did not apply for their offer.
