“I called Auto MD Friday morning before labour day with a transmission problem. I was told that there would be little chance that I could get the vehicle looked at let alone repaired that day. They assured me that Tuesday morning they would be able to help me.
I called CAA and had the vehicle (2013 Silverado) towed to their shop at about 11:30 am. There were people coming and going at this very busy shop. I was thinking that Friday before the long weekend was not a good time to have vehicle problems.
The vehicle was stuck in reverse and wouldn't start or drive.
When the tow driver dropped it off the mechanic came out and went under behind the driver wheel and announced it was now in park so no need to chalk the wheels.
After speaking with them I figured I would be at he camp site until Tuesday. My wife and I went to the park for a picnic lunch and before we knew it the garage called to say the truck was ready for pickup.
I could hardly believe it. When I went to pay I was flabbergasted at the small amount of the invoice.
Thank you so much for making our Holliday weekend enjoyable and stress free.
