Absolutely amazing experience with JS Tuning. These guys truly know what they’re doing. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and professionalism are on another level. They took the time to properly diagnose everything, explain what was going on, and make sure the vehicle was running exactly the way it should before handing it back.<br><br>What impressed me most was how honest and knowledgeable they were. No guessing, no unnecessary parts, and no trying to upsell you—just proper diagnostics and quality work. It’s very hard to find a shop you can genuinely trust, especially when dealing with performance and European vehicles, but JS Tuning is one of them.<br><br>The car came back running absolutely perfect, and the entire experience from beginning to end was excellent. You can tell they take pride in their work and actually care about their customers and their reputation.<br><br>I would recommend JS Tuning without hesitation to anyone looking for tuning, diagnostics, repairs, or performance work. Definitely one of the best shops around. 10/10 experience and they’ve earned a customer for life!

A very honest guy. I had a head gasket problem with engine cylinders affected. He did the repairs at a decent price. I would recommend him for sure.

I can’t recommend Joseph and JS Tuning highly enough.<br><br>I started having a serious problem with my Infiniti QX70S that felt like it could be either the transmission or the engine. I knew it could be a fairly complex mechanical issue, so I wanted someone who was comfortable doing real diagnostic and engine/transmission work rather than simply replacing parts. I also wanted to avoid going straight to the dealership and paying dealership prices.<br><br>I started calling garages on Monday morning. I called five or six shops on both the Quebec and Ottawa sides, and most couldn’t even look at the car for about two weeks. Then I called JS Tuning. Joseph answered, listened carefully to what the car was doing, and simply said, “Bring it in at 4.”<br><br>When I arrived, I could immediately see that this wasn’t a shop doing only routine maintenance. There were numerous vehicles being worked on and serious mechanical work underway, including engines and transmissions, which was reassuring given the problem I was dealing with.<br><br>Joseph didn’t waste any time. I explained the symptoms and asked if he could pull the codes. Instead, he suggested we take the car out together so he could experience the problem himself. He plugged his diagnostic computer into the car and monitored it while we drove. When the problem happened, he was able to see exactly what the vehicle was doing, identify the engine misfires and timing issues, and explain the codes and diagnosis to me right there.<br><br>Back at the shop, he explained exactly what needed to be done, what the parts would cost and what the labour would cost. The price was extremely reasonable — frankly, I expect I would have paid two or three times as much at a dealership.<br><br>The repair involved significant engine work, including the timing system, spark plugs and ignition components. Joseph initially told me to expect about four days. Two days later, he called: the car was ready.<br><br>While doing the work, he also identified and repaired a suspension component that had been causing a noise I had been dealing with separately. When I picked up the vehicle, he walked me through what he had done. The original problem is gone and the car is running great.<br><br>What impressed me most was the trust I developed in a very short time. Joseph was responsive, straightforward and transparent. At no point did I feel that he was trying to sell me unnecessary work. Quite the opposite — I came away with the clear impression that his objective was to diagnose the problem properly, fix what actually needed fixing, and not charge me a dollar more than necessary.<br><br>Finding an independent mechanic you trust — particularly one capable of doing complex diagnostic and mechanical work — isn’t easy. For me, JS Tuning is a bit of a hidden gem. Joseph has definitely earned my future business, and I’ll be bringing my vehicles back to him.<br><br>Highly recommended.<br><br>My only hesitation in leaving such a good review is that now everyone else will discover him and it’ll be harder for me to get an appointment next time! 😄

This is hands down the best mechanic shop in the Ottawa-Gatineau region! The head gasket on my Honda CR-V blew up, and the dealer gave me an insane quote. I called around to many mechanics in Ottawa/Gatineau, but nobody would touch it—some even told me over the phone to just replace the entire engine. I was almost ready to tow my car to Toronto.<br>​Joseph fixed it in just 2 days and charged a very reasonable price. He is honest, extremely knowledgeable, and only charges for what actually needs to be done. I even noticed him working on luxury cars in the shop. Highly recommended for any vehicle!
