Estimates kept going up from around $5000. When it was done I had paid $6500 on what I understood be a $7000 job. Final bill came in at around $10000. I asked to see details of the work because it seemed I had misunderstood what was supposed to have been done. This request was refused. Meanwhile they were charging me storage fees. I got MPI involved and I sent payment for what was left with the promise that I would get the details of the work. They refused to accept the rest of the charge because they said I should pay storage fees, which I would not do because it was not my fault that they had refused to give me the details of the work.<br>Now they are telling me they sold the vehicle through the garage keepers act. Trying to figure out now if the laws in Manitoba mean anything.
