Well I figured I'd review this business since I attempted to use them.

Flash back to a month ago my car started showing signs of a bad throwout bearing so I brought my car to Mister transmission on the Kingsway for a initial check on the manual transmission. I figured I'd stay with a franchise that was quite large. The next day I received a call from the service manager (mark) indicating that my clutch was finished and that it needed replacing. Also that I apparently needed a flywheel (these can be resurfaced instead of replacing) I figured it needed a clutch regardless.I was given an astronomical quote of 2800$ plus HST I was thrown away by this quote as I had a 09 Acura which was the same as this 2012 Acura same model same car different year. I had to replace the clutch and throwout bearing on the 09 so I figured cost would be the same around 1800. Once I started to question the price I was quoted I had told the manager I had other quote from franks transmission in Chelmsford at 1620 plus tax only then did they try to bring the price down and regain my business. Moral of the story this outfit tried to take advantage of me. If I didn't know anything about transmissions I would have been vulnerable to this. End of the day I got the clutch replaced at franks transmission. This has left a lasting impression on me for this business. I will not recommend anyone get work done here and to serk other estimates from other shops in the area.

Had a 2006 Chevy 1500 , the transmission toqure converter was slipping, brought my truck in for repairs ended up needing a full rebuild after teardown inspection, mark was amazing threw the hole experience showing me pictures and proof of the damages worn parts etc so I had piece at mind I was not getting overcharged or getting parts I did not need even got me a used spare bell housing to keep the cost down, sarah was also amazing with calling me back with updates and information, truck was in and out with an impressive time frame. so far I have about 300km on the transmission and it’s shifting absolutely amazing and working better then I would have imagined being rebuilt, very happy with the work performed. Will post an update after a year. Driving worry free with a very nice 60,000km 3 year warranty
