Maritime Tire & Alignment

I rarely review. Coast's bad service has cross the threshold. Unbelievably slow, expensive, limited parking and difficult to schedule. All around bad. The posted hours online and on their own front door are wrong.

I am proud to be a regular customer at Coast Tire on Young Street in Halifax. The service and expertise of this team is always second to none! Last week, however, they went above and beyond excellent service. I discovered, while filling my car with gas in the afternoon before a road trip that evening that my car was past due for an oil change. I knew I’d not be able to travel without having this done. Since Coast Tire is only across the street from the gas station, I stopped in. When I explained the situation, they told me they would try and squeeze me in to an already overbooked day if I could leave my car. I left my car and before the end of the day, I got a call saying the oil change had been done and I could pick my car up. I was and am so very appreciative. I can’t imagine this kind of exemplary customer service occurring at any other garage in town. I have come to realize this is routine customer service at Coast — always at Young Street in Halifax— but I’ve had similar experiences in Charlottetown. Thanks so much to the Coast Team on Young Street! You are the best!!!! Christine Smith, Halifax

Outstanding customer service! I dropped in with no appointment, needing help with some stubborn license plate bolts. Peter at the counter didn't hesitate, he came right out to inspect the car, fetched his tools, and took care of it in under 5 minutes. He even coated it with anti-rust and gave me new bolts! I am so impressed by how welcoming and helpful they are. I’ve been searching for a good tire service company, and my search ends here. I highly recommend them!
