Avoid for any car repair. Customer service negligence cost me extra money and time for a problem that should have been solved in one appointment.
I brought my car in because I suspected an issue with my belt and asked them to look into it. Instead of properly diagnosing the problem, they replaced the belt and claimed I had declined an inspection, which never happened. I would not have skipped an inspection when I was the one flagging an issue I couldn't identify myself.
Unsurprisingly, the real problem (the tensioner) wasn't fixed, and I had to return for a second appointment. On that visit, I was charged for the inspection that should have been done in the first appointment, one that should have caught the actual issue the first time if it had been done properly. Between the two visits, I paid over $600 for what should have been resolved correctly the first time.
When I raised these concerns, instead of taking accountability, staff acted as though the situation was my fault and made no real effort to accommodate me or make it right. They said if I tell them to replace the belt they do it without question. So in this case they might have replaced a perfectly fine belt without telling me. If I told them to remove a wheel would they allow me to drive off with 3 without question? I specifically said in my first appointment "I think there is something wrong with my belt but it needs to be diagnosed first" but that doesn't matter to them. I understand mistakes happen, but being blamed for an error I didn't make, on top of paying extra for work that should have been done once, is hard to overlook.
