I am so thankful to have met Dennis from the auto department. He was kind and educational- taking the time to walk me out to my car and clearly explain the issues that were found with my tires. Despite being super busy on a Saturday, he took the time to provide excellent customer service and it did not go unnoticed.

Dennis was amazing in automotive, went in to do some tire swaps and took me in right away and was out before I even knew it

Needed a headlight for my car. Talked to a kind person named Denis in the car section he went above and beyond to help me to try and locate the bulb

So imagine having an APPOINTMENT for 8am to have your vehicle fixed. At drop off they tell u if it just needs lubricants it’ll be 1hr or so. If that’s not it, will take longer. Np all good so far.

I called for updates throughout the morning but could not get through to anyone. Left a vmail @ 10:30, no response. When I finally reached them at 2:45 PM, I was told they were just getting to my vehicle.
Tbf the staff was not rude.They diagnosed a sticky caliper rather than the e-brake, and they offered a discount to try and finish it by closing. I appreciate that honesty, but waiting nearly 7 hours just for a diagnosis on a scheduled morning appointment is crazy to me, especially when you rely on your vehicle for medical transit.

DO NOT RECOMMEND this Canadian Tire auto section.
The store part, 5 ⭐️ to me. I’ve been here since 2013 and never had a problem.
Today was the 1st time I tried them for mechanic. From my experience, what a waste of time.

I had a great experience with the customer service desk at Canadian Tire! Kayley was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional when I brought in a defective helium tank. She went above and beyond by getting my balloons inflated for me after the tank didn’t work and also provided me with a gift card for the defective tank. Her excellent customer service turned a frustrating situation into a positive experience. Thank you, Kayley!
