These guys don't even deserve one star!! I bought my car in for a diagnosis and they worked on it with out my permission and so my quote for the diagnosis went from $60 to $263. I did not have the money to spend at the time for the repairs and was not given the opportunity to get the work done later even though when I dropped it off the receptionist said that they would let me know what was wrong and then see if I wanted them to fix it. I do not recommend this shop.

I can’t recommend Stay Tuned Auto enough.<br><br>I originally brought my truck in just to have a code read, and instead of trying to sell me unnecessary repairs, the owner took the time to explain exactly what the code meant and showed me how I could fix the issue myself. He genuinely wanted to save me money and gave me the information and confidence to tackle some of the work on my own.<br><br>I also asked about an issue with my power windows, and he immediately pointed me in the right direction, explaining that it was likely a wiring issue in the door jamb and something I could probably repair myself. Again, he wasn’t trying to make a sale, he was trying to help.<br><br>Later, after I cleaned my throttle body, my truck started revving extremely high. I brought it back in, and within minutes he was able to reset the system using specialized equipment and get everything running properly again. My truck has never run better.<br><br>What really stood out to me was his honesty and integrity. He wasn’t interested in taking my money for things I didn’t need. He took the time to educate me, help me understand my vehicle, and find the most cost effective solutions. That’s rare these days.<br><br>If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable, community minded mechanic who genuinely cares about helping people, I highly recommend Stay Tuned Auto.

These guys are amazing. We had our Van towed to their shop and they made time to do our repairs and get us back on the road. And their invoice was very fair. Highly recommend!

this is the best repair shop in kamloops. i will always recommend anyone looking to get work on their vehicles to get it done here. they replaced an exhaust manifold on my 05 4runner for nearly half of the price that any other shop had quoted me - and did a great job of it too. they call and/or text with updates on repair progress. the honesty that you get from this shop and the people working in it is remarkable. i will continue to bring my vehicles for any work in the future! My experience with Scott and the rest of the team was over the top exceptional.<br><br>Stranded in the area on a trip with failed ball joints Scott confirmed my diagnosis via text photos and was able to source the parts before I was towed in and complete the work same day. On a sunny 40 degree day working outside the shop to accommodate.. Outstanding service. Honest/transparent cost wise as well that ended up coming in better than what I was expecting.<br><br>First place I’ll be calling if I’m in the area again and can’t recommend them enough.<br><br>Thanks again guys!
