Had an excellent experience working with Robin and Laura. I really appreciate these folks squeezing my car in and getting everything done quickly and effectively. I definitely recommend D&D, especially if you are in need of a Safety Standards Certificate - they’ll get it done quickly and properly.

This was a great experience. We were traveling through on our way to Alberta and they took us at the last minute and told us it was something we could get fixed when we got home. Great friendly service!!!

I took my car in with my own parts for a rack and pinion. Apparently my part was incompatible with my car. So instead of letting me know right away they put my car back together with the part and charged me an extra $1,000 of labor. They also broke bolts on the undercarriage of my car and admitted it later but never fixed it. Because of this I was left without a car for one week. When my car was finally returned it was dirty with mud and grease so I had to return the car to have it cleaned and also they had put the undercarriage on upside down. the car was unsafe to drive that way so I took it back to have them put the undercarriage on the proper way. at this time we spoke about the bolts and the mechanic admitted that he had broken them without telling me. I wasn't given the option to have them fixed. I drove a safe car in there and left with an unsafe car. it was leaking power steering fluid so I figured I better have it fixed before it got worse. they let me know that I needed a rear caliper and new tires in the back which I had fixed elsewhere. the original estimate that I received was $450 seeing as how I had my own parts. this turned out to be a $2,000 repair. I also still need to have the broken bolts repaired. I wanted to get my original rack and pinion back from them but then they said I would have to pay $104 core charge. I'm not sure if this is the way they treat all women but I would advise you not to bring your car there.Do better Charlie!!!!......As for your explanation it is totally untrue. First of all my car is not 30 years old. It is 19 years old. When you're mechanic tried to force the bolts on to an upside down under carriage that is when they were broken. When the part was too short you should have not tried to install it. Did you expect me to take this sitting down? You owe me $1,000 and the replacement of two bolts. You and your business need to man up. I would have been more than happy to take it to someone else only you were holding my car hostage for $1,000. Wow, not a great way to run a business is it Charlie !!!

I had called several other garages (before a holiday!) to get a different quote for an exhaust repair and only D&D was able to get me in last minute with very helpful and kind service! They saved me about $600 in unnecessary repairs and were very straightforward and honest about the required jobs - they gave me a heads up for a possible future repair without any pressure to get it done before it was needed.
