**Disappointing Experience and Lack of Accountability**<br><br>I had a very disappointing experience with Speedy Auto Service in Kitchener.<br><br>I went there on May 13 to get an oil change, winter tires swapped, and to have my cigarette lighter/DC outlet checked because it was not working. They completed the oil change and tire swap, but after checking the cigarette lighter, they told me they could not find the reason why it was not working.<br><br>When I drove the car home, I noticed a red triangle warning, an airbag warning light, and that the MFD display was not working at all. At first, I thought it might be related to a weak battery. I also did not have time to go back right away because I was working and had already taken some time away from work to get the car serviced.<br><br>The next day, the red triangle warning went away, but the airbag warning stayed on, and the main display was still not working.<br><br>A few days later, I went back and explained that I wanted to get my AC checked because it was not cooling, replace the AGM battery, and also mentioned that the display had stopped working since the day they checked the electrical issue. They were busy at that time and asked me to come back on Thursday morning, May 28, and leave the car with them, which I did.<br><br>Later, they called me with the battery replacement cost, and I agreed to get the battery replaced. For the AC, they said they could not do anything because the AC controls are on the display, and the display was not working. I explained again that the display had been working before their inspection and stopped working after they checked the electrical issue, but they denied any responsibility and said it was just a coincidence.<br><br>What disappointed me the most was the complete lack of accountability. I tried to have a reasonable conversation with them, but they kept denying everything. At that point, I did not see any point in arguing further, so I just took my car back.<br><br>Now I am left with a non-working display, an airbag warning light that was not there before, and an AC issue that cannot be diagnosed because the display is not functioning. This will cost me a lot of money and stress to fix.<br><br>I am sharing this review so other customers are aware of my experience.<br><br>Would not recommend at all.

Overcharged for my service at comparable locations (for a previously diagnosed issue!). Then gaslit me on issues I knew the car had because they simply couldn't replicate them and still charged me for a diagnostic. Would not really recommend this location, but its possible I had a uniquely bad experience.

Repaired my car A/C under warranty quickly. Very good service.

Had a great experience here. Was dealing with Troy who was so good at his job. Very nice, informative and knowledgeable. He kept me notified on how things were going and was just overall great and competent - he has his job down! I would recommend this place because he knows what he’s doing.
