My 1st experience with Mark and his crew was needing a/c service for my 2008 HHR. He took my car in right away for diagnostic. Repaired in a couple of days and provided a loaner car to boot. My 1976 Corvette required drive train service. Mark is extremely knowledgeable on Corvettes. The work was completed beyond my satisfaction. If you are in need of an exceptional auto service garage, here it is!
Hey Mark,
Ted here, fantastic service!
Was a little skeptical at first, but I was recommended by a friend named Aiden from parts source. I am someone whom is hard to trust, but considering that they a) lemme use my own parts b) let me watch the car while its being serviced and c) were very informative on what they were doing, and even educated me and well I was able to even talk car talk on the side with the mechanics.
I think a guy named barry worked on my car. Fanominal job! (Pardon my spelling) they were honest, and were all around very friendly and particular (in a good way).
I think the only thing I would say, is that it was a little expensive, so their services are a little out of my budget as a student, but minus that the service was great!
Thank you for your service, would recommend to a friend!
A couple of days ago We took the Mazda 2010 in for the first time at Marks Auto.
Had to get the sway bar links, relay, one ball joint replaced, cabin filter, and A/C refrigerant topped up. Needed other repairs, but will bring in at a later date.
Mark is upfront and honest, he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. He reminds me of a teacher for Automotive Care, Repair. He talked for probably an hours worth for free over the phone in total explaining cars, parts, automotive with my partner. I had my partner talk to him since initially I was nervous since in my past Automotive places in town took advantage that I am female.
As experiences at other shops in town I / we had were bad... it helped that Mark was willing to take the time to explain thoroughly without rushing and hurrying you off the phone, or in person. He is like a Tibetan Monk so calm, puts you at ease, and reassuring.
You can tell he & team are very passionate and dedicated to their work. They all have a very calm and professional demeanor.
Him and his team also are helpful, personable, and caring about their work.
They are prompt and efficient, updating you along the way, and you will have your car returned and fixed fast.
The team offered a loaner car as well which helped! Since I lived 22 minutes drive away.
I found him easy to talk to.. I didn't tell him but I have a ( high functioning) Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. I did tell him I have ADHD though, and he was very cool and non-judgmental.
Yes, I understand prices are a complaint in the comments but I felt you pay for quality work so it was worth the ease of knowing you are in good hands.
I will return again !
Thank you all at Marks Auto.
He is very expensive and not working well, I went to him to repair my A/C for my car , just one month working and then everything back the same
Over 2 years later, still undoing the hack job of a $6000 clutch replacement. Justification by Mark Gaboury himself was “old cars are complicated” when the clutch geometry had been completely changed with a brazing torch, and none of the parts were correct for the vehicle. Hoping to help whoever reads this, go elsewhere, learn from me and the many other negative reviews
