I recently had my son’s car repaired at Precision Auto and they did an outstanding job replacing his starter and also had my trucks parking brake pads replaced. If you want your vehicle fixed properly, this is the place to bring it. I am thankful I found this place. I am no longer being ripped off by the dealership and being charged for repairs they never did.
I brought my vehicle to Precision Auto Service right before Christmas after my windshield wiper motor failed during extremely heavy rain. I was visibly shaken and explained that I felt unsafe driving without wipers.

I was told it would cost over $200 just to look at my vehicle. When I said I might take it elsewhere, both front desk staff were adamant that any shop would charge the same amount, leaving me feeling backed into a corner with no real choice, especially since my vehicle was unsafe to drive with the rain and a rental was being offered.

After the inspection, I was quoted approximately $1,000 for the repair. I declined.

I picked up my vehicle and paid $225 total, which included the diagnostic and a rental vehicle for less than 24 hours, and left with no repair completed.

I then contacted A Pro Automotive Services in Langley. I purchased the exact part myself at Lordco for $172, and A Pro installed it at no charge, purely out of kindness after hearing what I had just experienced.

This experience showed me that what I was told at Precision, that this was “standard everywhere”, was simply not true. The contrast between being pressured during an emergency versus being genuinely helped was night and day.

For a business that prides itself on customer service, it’s disappointing that they only reply to certain negative reviews.

I’m sharing this so others, especially women or parents in stressful situations, can make an informed decision about where to take their vehicle.

Response to owner's reply:

Your response misses the point.

This was never about expecting A-Pro to work for free. Your employees knew I was a single mother, that this happened right before Christmas, and that I was in a vulnerable situation with an unsafe vehicle. I told them I could not afford the $200+ diagnostic fee, and instead of being honest and directing me elsewhere, I was told this was “standard everywhere.” It wasn’t.

Based on your other reviews, I’m clearly not the only customer who has had this experience.

Thank you for responding, but your response only reinforces my impression that you don't actually care about your customers.
The staff are friendly and thorough. Estimates complete with pictures, along with reliable quote and timeline for repairs.
Its greatly appreciated when your vehicle is your second office.

T Grant
Brought my Jetta GLI for the first time to Precision Auto Service (as my son-in-law had liked their service). Precision for me has been precise, punctual, and pleasant. Their price is reasonable, but most importantly I leave as a happy customer. Certainly recommend worthy!
Great service and great communication, which means alot!
