Proven Negligence, Mechanical Hazards, and Manager Retaliation
I have been a loyal Kal Tire customer since 2023, but the Leamington branch severely compromised my BMW’s safety. After a tire swap, my car felt unstable. I called twice, but staff dismissed it as an "air pressure issue." They missed an extreme misalignment on my old tires, bolted new rubber onto a compromised suspension, and ruined my new tires in eight weeks. A licensed third-party shop's diagnostic report instantly confirmed the severe alignment issue Kal Tire missed.
The local manager acknowledged the oversight and offered a 50% refund, admitting store fault. However, the situation escalated drastically:
Deceptive Service: I gave explicit instructions to wait for both replacement tires to arrive. The shop ignored me, used a false pretense to get me into the store, and installed only ONE new tire against my will.
Mechanical Hazard: Leaving a 50% worn tire on the other side creates a rolling diameter mismatch. This violates BMW engineering tolerances, risking expensive differential and drivetrain damage while actively destroying the new tire.
Manager Retaliation: When I complained about this hazard and mentioned escalating to corporate, the manager retaliated by banning me from the store and refusing to install the second tire when it arrives.
This shop ignored instructions, created a mechanical hazard, and banned a customer for exercising consumer rights. Corporate Customer Care has been updated with third-party proof to demand a full resolution. Avoid this location.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area and restroom were Very clean. Quick, efficient service at a reasonable price.
