I called ahead of time to check wait times and prices. When I brought my Subaru heads in to have them decked, it was done in the promised time. The machinist was excellent, I told him to take off as little as possible and that's what he did. The finish was perfect in my opinion for the MLS gaskets. And the cleaning on the heads was excellent. The warpage on my heads was quite minimal like 0.0015" that I debated whether to have them machined, I dry fitted the my heads before and after machining and I can tell you, if you ever in doubt get the heads machined. It does make a difference, feelers won't go between the head and block. My engine just leaked externally and never overheated for reference.
