A five star experience from the first call to NIM for a quote to the time I picked up my car (BMW X5). I wanted a quality experience with quality parts for brake service (rotors and pads) without paying Dealer prices. Nim and his son are prompt, respectful, and truly care about their quality of service. Most importantly, they are very knowledgeable and offer options without trying to up sell you. Their automated booking and payments makes things very simple.
I highly recommend NV Euro Motor Works.
NV Euro Motor Works is my go-to shop for anything related to my Mercedes. The work they do is solid, reliable, and done right the first time. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but it’s still more reasonable than the dealership—and the quality definitely justifies it.
The owner is a straight-up, no BS kind of guy, which I really respect. He tells you exactly what’s needed, what’s not, and doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. That kind of honesty is hard to find.
Out of all the shops I’ve dealt with, this is one of the very few I fully trust with my Mercedes. If you care about your car and want it handled properly, this is the place to go.
Such an amazing service experience at NV Euro Motor Works! Nim is a true professional, above all experiences we have had. My wife has an MB GLE 450 that developed a coolant leak that needed attention right away. We easily made an appointment online and follow up was excellent - confirmation of the appointment and timely reminders. From the moment my wife walked in she received a professional greeting with a smile. They provided a fully detailed quote after a diagnosis and confirmed parts were available and the service would be completed the same day. I peeked under the hood after the service and they even cleaned the engine compartment, amazing as I had never had that from an MB dealership. It is rare to find a shop that combines expert technical skills with such genuine care for the customer. Five stars!"
STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!!!!! There is no option to give 0 stars!!!
I had a problem with my BMW, which shut down at a red light. I took it to the dealership for a diagnostic, and they told me it needed a new engine starter, exhaust clamp, and steering shaft. I was surprised because I had never had any issues with the starter before, so I decided to get a second opinion.
I went to this garage and explained the situation, including what the dealership had recommended. The mechanic said he needed to inspect the car first. I brought it in, and the next day he sent me a quote with exactly the same repairs the dealership had suggested. Since the price was $400 less, I agreed to proceed.
Later that same day, about 5 minutes after leaving, I reconsidered and sent him a message asking to cancel the starter replacement (which was $1014 + tax) and to only proceed with the ground strap and exhaust clamp.
The next morning, he refused. He said they would not work on the car unless I replaced the starter. I called him to understand why, and he insisted the starter had to be replaced. I told him I wasn’t sure it was faulty and asked to keep my old starter just in case. He then told me I would have to pay an additional $500 because my old starter would be sent to Bosch for rebuilding—something he never mentioned before. At that point, the total cost would be higher than the dealership’s price.
Despite this, I reluctantly agreed.
When I picked up my car, the check engine light was still on. I called him, and he simply said, “We did what you asked us to do. It’s not our problem if the issue is still there.”
I brought the car in for a proper diagnosis and professional advice. I am not a mechanic—it is their job to determine what needs to be repaired.
This was a very bad experience. I’m not even convinced the starter needed to be replaced. I ended up paying $1380 for something that might have cost $400.
All they care about is money. Think twice before bringing your car to this place. They may recommend unnecessary repairs just to charge you more. They even admitted they worked on my car without doing a proper diagnostic.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
**3/5 Stars**
This was my second visit to NV Euro Auto Works.
Let me start by saying that **Nim, the owner, is the reason I came back and the reason I am giving an extra star.** He is professional, calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-focused.
The work itself appears to have been done properly. My Mercedes required significant repairs, and I spent just over $2,000. Nim also offered me a discount of $127.92, which was a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated.
Unfortunately, my experience at pickup was not nearly as positive.
The young man handling the checkout process was noticeably unfriendly. After spending over $2,000, I asked for the key so I could inspect the work and the vehicle before payment. His response was simply, "You must pay first." There was no smile, no explanation, and no effort to make the interaction welcoming. I then asked if he could at least come outside and show me the work that had been completed.
Once outside, I immediately noticed that the tow hook cover was missing. Before we even opened the hood, I pointed it out. His first reaction was to suggest it had already been missing, despite the fact that I had personally handed the cover to the mechanic when the vehicle arrived on the tow truck. Rather than discussing it further, he called Nim.
As expected, Nim handled the situation professionally. He checked, found the cover, returned, and installed it himself. He also took the time to show me the parts that had been replaced and explain the work completed. That level of customer service was appreciated.
After paying and leaving, I noticed the service reminder had not been reset. I had to return to the shop. The same young man came out, reset the warning, and sent me on my way. Again, there was no acknowledgment that the step had been missed and no apology for the inconvenience.
To be fair, everyone has different personalities and not every employee needs to be overly cheerful. However, friendliness, attentiveness, and basic customer care are important parts of the customer experience—especially when someone has entrusted you with a vehicle and spent a significant amount of money.
Overall, I believe NV Euro Auto Works does quality work, and Nim's professionalism, honesty, and positive attitude are major assets to the business. The repair work itself was good. The missing tow hook cover, the forgotten service reset, and the disappointing checkout experience are what cost the shop two stars in my rating.
Thank you, Nim, for your professionalism and for taking care of the issues. Customers remember good service just as much as good repairs.
