I had arranged for him to install an engine in my vehicle. However, he changed his mind without notifying me for several months. He also lost the key I had provided, falsely claimed that I had never given it to him, and ultimately informed me that he would not be completing the work. He placed the blame on me, despite having explicitly stated that he would contact me if he required any additional information or assistance. This experience has been a significant waste of time.
Stu was amazing at explaining the issues and fixing it promptly. Excellent service, will be using Daffys from now on.
I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Daffys Auto. This is the first and last time I will be working with them.

Last week, I was told they would be fixing my car for a tire sensor issue that was causing all of my brake warning lights to stay on, as well as a door pin/door actuator issue. I was told all the parts were ordered and would be in by Monday, that I would receive a call, and that in total it would be $1000 for both repairs.

Monday came and went with no call, so I had to call them myself. I was then told, “Well, we are busy so you can drop the car off but we will have to keep it overnight. When do you need it back by?” I explained that I needed it by 1 PM the following day because I had an appointment for windshield repair and needed the car for that.

The next day came with, again, no communication from them, causing me to have to reschedule the windshield repair appointment. At 12 PM I called for an update and was told they fixed the tire sensor issue, but actually didn’t have the parts for the door lock repair after all, meaning I would have to wait ANOTHER week and pay another $700 for that repair.

At that point I told them I was going to look at other options. They charged me $360 (more than originally quoted), and when I got into my car I immediately noticed damage to the interior leather on the door panel that looked punctured/ripped. Nobody mentioned this damage to me at all on the phone OR in person.

Then I started driving away and realized every single brake warning light was STILL on. So after paying $360, the original issue wasn’t even fixed, and my interior had been damaged. I called back immediately and the response I got was: “Well guess you’re gonna have to leave the car with me. Just leave the car with me I guess. It was working fine when I drove it yesterday.”

Not a single apology. No accountability. No acknowledgment of the interior damage. No refund offered.

The lack of communication, the constant delays, charging me for a repair that clearly did not solve the issue, and returning my vehicle with interior damage is completely beyond unacceptable. I should not have had to repeatedly chase them down for updates every step of the process.

TDLR: they charged me for a repair that didn’t fix anything, left me hanging multiple times, damaged my interior without saying anything, and then didn’t apologize or offer any refund.
Drove into Medicine Hat from a long trip, just as a check engine light came on. Needed to leave again in the early morning next day. The gents at Daffy’s got me in the shop and remedied the issue on VERY short notice. Very clear they know thier stuff. Top notch service. Would highly recommend.
Had my timing belt and some other various maintenance done here. Stewart is great to deal with - highly recommend Daffy's.
