Matrix Auto Repair

I’ve been to Matrix twice now.<br><br>The first time was for diagnostics after the check-engine light came on and a general inspection as it had been a while. They were able to fix that simply with a new gas cap. They also identified significant wear on the rear brakes and warned me that the front brakes would need replacing in 8-10K km. They replaced the rear brakes asap and like clockwork, I felt the front brakes pulsing about 9K km later. My second visit was quick. They changed the oil and front brakes. Now, the car is in top shape!

I brought my nearly 20 year-old Lexus GS 450h to Matrix after buying it about six months ago, and they’ve already helped me quickly resolve a couple of issues with the car.<br><br>I’ve been very impressed with how efficient, professional, and affordable everything has been. Owning an older luxury hybrid can feel intimidating, but Matrix made the whole process easy and stress-free.<br><br>I’m quite certain the same repairs and diagnostics through a Lexus dealership would have cost significantly more and taken much longer. I’ll definitely continue bringing my vehicle here and highly recommend them.

I took my car in to have the cooling system repaired, after several days they did the job and it seems to be fine. Cost? Seemed high, but what do I know? My problem is with everything else surrounding the repair. They started by saying it would be ready the next day. I never received a call and finally called them to find out that it would take longer - trouble getting parts. Same scenario repeated for a couple more days until they had to keep it over the weekend. When I finally got it back the passenger's seat was in full recline and there were a pair of bikini panties ("Juicy" written across them) in the door pocket. Now I know why they needed the car for the weekend. There was another small repair that I wanted done but, surprise, they needed parts - "I'll call you in about a week when they're in." That was almost a month ago and, surprise, no call. Not that I'd take it back there anyway.
