I've been debating whether or not to write this review for a few days now, but it just has not been sitting right with me. I have no doubt the quality of work would be good and I understand a shop needs to make money. But their pricing makes absolutely no sense

I went in to get my car safety tested and left with a quote of almost $7000. I was told i needed new ball joints upper and lower in the front and it would cost about $615 per side. That's fine. However, I was then told i needed new bushings in the upper control arm and that would cost almost $800. $620 of that in labour. Well, how can that possibly cost $620 in labour when you already have the ball joints out... Its quite literally 2 nuts at that point to remove the control arm after taking the ball joints out.

They quoted me almost $150 in parts for each ball joint. I found same brand everything for $50. Mark ups are fine, but at 3x the cost? Same with bushings. They wanted $100. Did a little research and the same bushings are $30.

I was also told I need a new headlight switch. Did they think i wouldn't check if the lights work? They were fine. That was another quote of $270. Totally unnecessary.

I was told i needed a new rear stabilizer bar. This is again a $50 part and 30 minutes-1 hour of labour if you know what you're doing. Their price - $250. This turned out to be totally fine and did not need replacing.

A simple wheel alignment was $390. Most shops are $150-$200 for this.

I genuinely think that they thought I was totally clueless and were hoping to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Unfortunately for them, I know a thing or two. Did all the work myself for about $600 and this includes a few specialty tools to make the work a bit easier. Buyer beware, do your research before committing to the service.
