I have never seen such incompetent in my entire 50 years of owning and driving various cars and trucks - we took our Porche into get the check engine light fixed - 1800+ dollars more and one trip to Kingston - the light was on again. The best part is they said they had it fixed on a Thursday - went to pick the car up and all the lights were on - told them - I could see them YouTube it - was told it need another part - finally got the car back on Tuesday - not fixed! The best part the car they gave me wife to drive had no muffler - no gas - all the lights were on - and it was filthy dirty. I have taken it to another garage - where they will fix what was messed up by these people. The children on the front desk, where so worried I was going to say something - neither even tried to make eye contact - kids - what a joke. I will imagine now they will lash out at me like a child - as they have with everyone that gave them a poor review - this should be interesting - lol.

As you can see from the comment below - he explained it all away - at least he didn't call me a lunatic - like he did others that reviewed his shop!
Need less to say - I took it to another shop - which gave me the entire story - it cost me 218.00 and it has been fixed - all German Automotive did was bolt on parts that I did not need - sorry about the 1800+ - it was only 1700+ my mistake.
Daniel did apologize for the mistakes they made - along with the terrible car the lent my wife and for the way the two children acted at the front desk - I see he change his mind after he talked to me - he acted surprised when I called back - what he forgot to say the children at the front desk told me he was too busy to talk to me. Ask around before you deal here - I got burnt - I would not want that to happen to anyone else.
PS - my wife never lets the gas go below 1/2 tank - but I did find his response to be a good story - untrue - never the less - a good story - Thank you Daniel for the apology - lol - you are one of a kind!!!
Month have passed since I have had this terrible experience with this company - German Automotive Inc - many things I did not mention - the the upsell of new lights for the entire car - at a cost of 4000.00 -- keep in mind this is because of an oil leak that was never found - however it was found in less then 20 minutes by my current garage and fixed for just over 200 dollars - just beware - they like to upsell for thing you do not need - I did not need one of those items they replaced at a cost of just over 1700.00 - so please be aware- there is so much more I could say but will not at this time.

Please BEWARE of this company - protect yourself - get a 2nd opinion for sure - this is what I should have done - do not make the same mistake as I did - I can tell you this - they will never touch another one of my vehicles - please keep this in mind - there a lots of honest garages around - unlike this one.
