GW Transmission

I brought in a 2003 Ford Ranger 5spd that had trouble finding first gear. Whomever the mechanic was at the time, came out, checked the truck, and said "yep, they're like that", and mentioned I could throw it in reverse to line it up again, allowing me to shift it into first.<br><br>I took it to other shops before, where they told me $3000 to overhaul the transmission to fix the issue, (i paid $2k for the truck). GW sent me on my way, and I've been driving the truck for 5+ years now with no problems.<br><br>I may not have ever paid for their services, but they have faithfully earned my business with their honesty and I will certainly bring my vehicle to them when time calls for it.

We had a transmission fail while it was still under warranty, and to be fair, we did pretty much everything wrong at the beginning. We took the truck to another shop and had them start tearing the transmission apart before contacting the company that actually supplied the warranty.<br><br>Once we finally called them, they took over the situation and handled everything from there. I didn’t hear much for a little while, and then one day I got the call that the truck was all fixed up and ready to go.<br><br>Considering how badly we handled the warranty process on our end, they could have made this very difficult for us, but instead they made the warranty work basically stress-free. Really appreciated how they handled it and stood behind their product.
