I have been without AC for all 3 years that my Mazda 3 2010 has been under my ownership. I figured that if I just roll my windows down during the summertime, I could take in mother nature’s air conditioning and save major dabloons on getting my AC repaired. That all changed… 6 or 7 days ago I was making a drive over to pick up my girlfriend for a date night, it was 33 degrees, pouring, and the old man was snoring, so rolling the windows down was out of the question. I was sweating out what felt like gallons of fluid and I had to cancel our date because I could not subject her to such a torturous endeavour. I made an appointment with urban automotive because my usual mechanic’s diagnostic AC machine was cooked, and I couldn’t wait any longer. I prayed, I hoped, and I begged to higher powers bigger than myself for mercy. Make it be just low on Freon, make it be a fried AC Relay fuse, anything but an AC compressor issue. Deep down though, I knew it wasn’t going to be so simple. Was it my raw intuition? Am I being a pessimistic glass half full kinda guy? Or maybe was it the concerning metal on metal clattering under the hood that has been progressively getting more aggressive over the course of 3 months? I will never truly know, I can only ponder, and accept whatever diagnosis comes before me. Needless to say, my fears were realized and had to do a full AC rehaul. I wasn’t shocked when I saw the quote, because despite the large price tag, it was without beyond a reasonable doubt fair and just. I commend Derek for keeping in such close communication to update me on my car’s status. Andrew, I never met you, I don’t know you, but what I do know is that you were the one who personally worked on my vehicle and restored it to tip top shape. They even went above and beyond to do a little detailing on boy the exterior and interior of my car! I may have to eat only rice and beans for the rest of the year to recuperate my financial loss, but my wheels is shiny, my car mats sans debris, my car air freezin, and screaming for its life scary sound gone. Worth every penny, even though those have been discontinued for some time. THANK YOU URBAN AUTOMOTIVE!

I wish more companies were as concerned about customer service as Urban. Always a great experience.
