Great ownership. Honest mechanics. Great work at an honest price. They always take care of me, even at the drop of a hat. Never upsell me at all. These guys are great. Book early for tires, though, as that time of season is very busy.

Scammers! Be very careful before buying tires from this place.

I had my tires replaced there, only to later discover that the manufacturing dates were old. These were not truly “new” tires — just old warehouse stock being sold at full price.

When I went back to complain, their response was basically: “They still have life left in them.”

Of course they still have some life left — but why should I pay full price for tires that have already lost a big part of their lifespan?

Make sure you personally check the DOT and manufacturing date before installation, because they will not clearly tell you.
Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place.

Follow-up:

You never showed me the tires before installation in the first place. You told me the tires were not available at the shop and would be brought from the warehouse, then you took the car keys and started the installation right away.

And what exactly do you mean by “full warranty”? If the tires become dry due to age or wear out faster because they are older stock, will you replace them for free? Everyone knows that a tire’s lifespan starts from the manufacturing date, not from the day it is sold.

The issue is not just about having a “warranty.” The real issue is that customers deserve to know they are buying tires with older manufacturing dates while paying full price as if they were freshly manufactured.

Unfortunately, there was no transparency or clear disclosure about the age of the tires before the installation. And when I raised the concern later, the response was simply: “They still have life left.”

That does not change the fact that a significant part of the tire’s lifespan had already been used up while sitting in storage.

I hope in the future you respect the customer’s right to full and honest information before the sale, not after the installation and payment are completed.

Gordon was super helpful and went over and beyond to help me with my tires (even though I did not end up purchasing with MTC as I exchanged my old tires at another place). I’ll definitely use them for my car needs next time and recommend MTC Oakville!
