Thank you for taking the time to respond. I feel it is important to clarify several points.

My review reflects my personal experience and the condition in which my vehicle was returned to me. While I appreciate that attempts were made to address the issues, the fact remains that the original installation and the subsequent reinstallation both contained significant defects that, in my opinion, went well beyond the minor imperfections that can occasionally occur with PPF installation.

I gave your company multiple opportunities to correct the problems because I genuinely wanted the work to be successful. I was patient throughout the process and communicated my concerns openly and respectfully. Unfortunately, after repeated attempts and continued dissatisfaction with the quality of the work, I no longer had confidence that the issues would be resolved to an acceptable standard. Having the film removed and redone by another installer was not a decision I made lightly, but rather one I felt was necessary.

As for the positive review I left in December, it accurately reflected my experience at that time. When circumstances changed and the quality of service I received no longer matched that original experience, I updated my review to reflect my final overall experience. Reviews are intended to provide honest feedback based on the entirety of a customer’s experience.

Lastly, I find the personal comments about “who I am as a person” unnecessary and unprofessional. My review was intended to address the workmanship and customer service I experienced, not to make personal attacks. I believe customers should be able to provide honest feedback without being subjected to personal criticism.

I always try to resolve situations professionally and directly before leaving a public review. Unfortunately, this experience resulted in unnecessary time, expense, and inconvenience.

After consulting with several reputable PPF installers, I ultimately decided to have the film completely removed and redone elsewhere. The most disappointing part of this process was the loss of confidence and trust in the workmanship after multiple unsuccessful attempts to correct the installation issues by OCD Autocare.

I am now paying out of pocket to have the adhesive residue properly removed and the hood rewrapped by another installer. The new installer also noted concerns with the PPF on the quarter panels and bumper which show visible signs of imperfections and cut lines.

What further concerned me was the owner’s statement that the second installation was “done as a courtesy” because I had supposedly damaged the original application myself and that it was therefore not covered under warranty. At no point did I damage the film. The vehicle was returned because of visible imperfections in the installation, including bubbles that the owner attempted to remove using a syringe. I was later told that one remaining defect was supposedly caused by a rock chip, despite no such damage being present when the vehicle was initially brought in.

I gave the shop the benefit of the doubt by allowing additional attempts to correct the work. Unfortunately, the results continued to fall below expectations, and the issues were acknowledged both in person and through text communications.

The condition of the hood and installation speaks for itself. I genuinely attempted to resolve this matter amicably and privately before posting a review, however the refusal to provide a refund left me with little alternative. Given the repeated failed attempts, proceeding with a third reinstall was simply not something I was comfortable with.

I was lucky enough to win one of their detailing giveaways, but I was already planning to bring my car there anyway. Winning the giveaway was just the icing on the cake!
I couldn't be happier with the results. They did an amazing job, especially on the carpets, they removed every stain and made them look like new again. You can really tell they take pride in their work and pay attention to every detail.
