Orillia Natural Gas

My furnace was not working and I was about to go on a trip. My kids would be home so I needed it fixed. I had a tech come in from a different company and was advised the motor needed to be replaced. The tech said he wouldnt be able to fix it until Monday but told me to call Orillia Natural Gas as they worked with the brand of my motor. I contacted them and the tech stated he was home and had to go to the shop to see if he had the motor. I told him I wanted the issue fixed as soon as possible and was willing to pay for weekend rates. He called me back and stated he had a previous model for the motor and did not know if it would work. I said ok but what if it doesnt, do I still have to pay you, and he said yes. I was shocked. I asked well cant you confirm if it will work first? As I didnt think it was fair for me to pay him to come out with parts he didnt even know if it would work. I had provided him my current motor make and everything. He was rude and stated he was just a guy at home and if I wanted him to come out I had to pay. The issue was not paying for him to do the work, the issue was paying him $250/hr to come out and possibly tell me the model of motor he had would not work, and then have to wait for monday anyways. I called Climate air and scheduled with them for monday. I bought some heaters at walmart. I do not recommend Orillia Natural Gas.

I have nothing but praise for Jay who came to service and repair our furnace after a Reliance Home Comfort technician told me that my furnace needed to be replaced due to a faulty heat exchanger. The heat exchanger was not the problem but we had a faulty inducer motor.
It's nice to see that there are skilled, knowledgeable and honest people who take pride in their craft.

This company is a great company. Owners are very pleasant and appreciative. Highly recommend without hesitation.
