Can-Saf Auto Repair

Had new AC replaced, oil change, headlights replaced and this cost me 1000 dollars less than other quotes I had gotten, so Can-Saf it is.

Another business who doesn’t even deserve the one star. This is a family business, so should you have an issue with anyone that works here, good luck!

I had the misfortune of using this business because they were an authorized repair shop through a warranty I had. Ivan and his family are lazy and all they care about is taking their cars racing. They do not care about your car or fixing it. I came back SEVERAL times for the same issue to which they never had a solution or they were indifferent about what they were saying and could never give me a concrete answer as to what was going on with the vehicle. EACH AND EVERY TIME I brought MY car here, I had to make SUGGESTIONS of what I thought could be wrong as he is so lazy he won’t even diagnose the car.

My final visit to this “business” was yet again for the same issue. They will do WHATEVER they can to get out of their wrong doing, including making false stories and accusations against a customer because they finally got caught.
This mechanic only contributed to the issues my car had, never had a resolution, seemed incapable. Cansaf & family, you do not deserve a single cent for what you do to your hard working customers.

UPDATES: Due to Ivan and his family’s incompetence and inability to repair my car (or even look at it to be frank) my car had a catastrophic engine failure driving on the highway at just over 100km/hr not long after being “looked at” by these clowns. For the sake of everyone else’s safety, please retire. You did not care about what happened to me, my life or my vehicle.

Just had my rx8 safetied at Can-Saf.
I told them to go over anything and everything on the vehicle, and replace if needed.
Normally, with an approach like that, ure guaranteed a big repair bill, but all i had to pay for was fixing few issues i was already aware of, and it cost less than i anticipated.
So im not entirely sure why some ppl in reviews call them crooks, not my experience whatsoever.
I will be placing orders thru Can Saf on performance parts for my rotary , and will always go to them for maintance and repairs

I hav to say THIS SHOP ISNT JUST A SHOP ITS FAMILY!! The owner is Ivan this man went out of his way to help me he went above and beyond and he didn’t charge me$$ much my hood latch broke it was a pain in the ass he spent 6 hours trying to get hood open it was impossible but he did it barely charged me anything and didn’t Giv up it was an emergency to get hood open for oil change IVAN u are the man thank u 💪🏻❤️🫶🏻✊🏻🙏🙏

Had clutch replaced with them in 2024 on the NC miata. Good experience with the shop, and the owner was very knowledgeable. However, the clutch failed miserably within 50k kms. When it was being replaced at Clarkson Fine Cars, I was told the installed clutch kit was of poor quality and unbranded.
