DAC’s Automotive Services

I’ve been going to Phil at DAC’s Automotive Services since around mid-2024, and over that time he and his team have worked on several different things on my vehicle. Every experience has reinforced that I made the right decision bringing my vehicle here.

Phil and his team consistently go above and beyond. What I appreciate most is Phil’s attitude — he’s kind, straightforward, and a true straight shooter. He’ll tell you exactly what’s going on with your vehicle without trying to upsell unnecessary work, and he’s certainly not the type to cut corners or half-do a job. When your vehicle is in their hands, you know it’s going to be done properly.

Over time I’ve also developed a friendly relationship with Phil and the team, which speaks volumes about the environment he’s created at the shop. When a business owner surrounds himself with a strong team and leads them toward proper workmanship and professional service, everyone succeeds. Phil succeeds because his team succeeds — and a man is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic can sometimes feel like crushing coal hoping to find a diamond — sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. In this case, I definitely found the diamond.

Phil, Ralph, Eddie, Connor, and Brandon (and anyone I may have accidentally missed — my apologies), you’re all outstanding professionals at what you do. If customers don’t always say it when they pick up their vehicles, I’ll say it here: you guys are the best.

I took my Mack Dump Truck for full service to Dac’s automotive services, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Other helpers and Licensed mechanics were very knowledgeable and friendly..cost was very reasonable. I am happy.
Timing was accordingly perfect 100% on time.
Shop is the state of Art , perfect for us with big dump trucks. In 37 years of my trucking experience this place: Dac’s got everything for our trucking industry. My suggestion please go and visit. My Mack Truck is like a brand new again. Also they repaired my trailer as well.. I am extremely happy with their work. Services, prices and friendly people…

Amazing service by Phil and the team at DAC’s Automotive Service. Honest, trustworthy, and professional are just a few words I would use to describe my experience.

I was having issues with my Lexus SUV and within the same day Phil was able to diagnose the problem, explain my repair options clearly, complete the repair, and have my vehicle ready for pickup by the end of the day. It’s hard to find mechanics you can genuinely trust, and this shop definitely earned my confidence.

Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic in Pickering.
