I had a coolant hose problem on a holiday and was stranded near Brandon, Manitoba. I had to call a mobile mechanic because regular shops were closed. The repair was simple, coolant hose replacement, but I was charged 255 dollars per hour for labor, with 5 hours and 46 minutes of service plus an emergency service charge, for a total bill of<br>$2,000 dollars. Emergency mobile service can cost more, but 255 dollars per hour is extremely expensive, and I was disappointed with the overall cost. Other truck drivers should ask for the complete labor rate, estimated hours, travel charges, and total price before authorizing repairs.
