I was recommended this place for electrical issues. They looked at my car and immediately tried selling me parts without diagnosing the root cause of the problem. This is known as firing the "parts cannon" and, most annoyingly, the part they wanted to put in had already been replaced by the last shop who failed to fix my car.

It's very frustrating when mechanics won't properly investigate your vehicle the way they'd investigate their own. I hoped Autotec would be different but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

When you find a shop you trust you stay with them. When I take my truck into the team at Autotec I trust whatever they indicate is needed and do not second guess the work. I trust this shop so much, I limped the vehicle home from Portland to be sure it would be looked after properly and fixed correctly the first time. Highly recommend this shop.
