I am a very unhappy customer of Crystal Auto Glass.<br><br>I brought my Porsche Macan in for a windshield chip repair and left with a chip repair that is now a crack which looks worse than when I arrived. What frustrates me most is that I was never told beforehand that the repair could make the damage more noticeable or fail entirely. I wasn’t asked to sign anything acknowledging that risk, and it certainly wasn’t explained to me when they took my vehicle into the shop.<br><br>They offered to apply the $40 repair cost toward a windshield replacement, (I wasn’t charged for the new crack they put in my windshield), which seemed fair at first. However, when I asked for a quote, I was told they couldn’t even replace my windshield because they don’t have the equipment or a technician capable of handling the rain sensor and lane assist calibration. I was left wondering why that credit was offered in the first place. And yes I understand this happens with high end vehicle ownership.<br><br>I asked to speak with the manager, partly to see if the credit could be transferred to another vehicle and partly to discuss the lack of disclosure before the repair. I was told the manager would contact me. That was three business days ago, and I still haven’t heard a thing.<br><br>I understand that mistakes happen. I wasn’t looking for perfection, and I was prepared to be reasonable about the outcome. What pushed me to write this review was the way I was treated afterward.<br><br>The woman I dealt with, who appeared to be in charge, was incredibly condescending. The tone of the conversation made me feel like I should have known all of this already, even though none of it had been explained to me beforehand. There was very little empathy, no accountability, and no real effort to make things right.<br><br>Poor communication is one thing. Being treated poorly when you’re trying to resolve a problem is another. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Crystal Auto Glass.
