Excellent customer service. Sean Pridie was my sales consultant, and he is great to deal with. Process and communication were very smooth.
What an excellent dealership! Tanner was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and created a warm and inviting experience. Thanks Tanner, I will return and will also let others know about my experience. View the photo of how my engine bay looked like after my visit. Keep up the great work!
Customer service was great and communication was fantastic. I’ve always bought my vehicles at OP ford and will continue to do so.
Extremely disappointing experience with Lacee (service advisor) at Ocean Park Ford.

In January 2026, I brought my vehicle in for a flickering headlight while it was still under warranty. This was my first time dealing with service advisor Lacee. Initially, she was very kind and helpful, even offering to waive the tech fee. I was told photos had been taken and submitted to warranty. Great!

About a week later, Lacee called to let me know the warranty claim had been denied. I was told they would not cover water damage, despite the issue apparently being caused by a compromised seal that allowed water to get into the headlight. Lacee offered to appeal the warranty decision, which I greatly appreciated.

Buttttt this is where it all went south....

Weeks went by without updates. Calls and messages went unanswered, and I even contacted Ford Canada directly for help. They attempted to contact Lacee on my behalf without success. As the west coast rainy months continued, the headlight continued to get worse. Frustrated, I reached out and spoke with the Service Manager which ultimately led me to be ping-ponged back and forth between Ford Canada and Ocean Park.

It was not until I went in person that I was able to get an update and find out what my options were.

At that point, Lacee told me about an AWA which could be submitted. Confused as to why this option hadn't been discussed months ago, and even more confused considering the problem was originally reported and documented while my vehicle was still under warranty... I was told this was the only option.

Additional photos were taken for the AWA request, but once again I spent weeks trying to get updates. Then finally... a text from Lacee saying it was not approved and that I should just report the damage to ICBC as a hit-and-run. Shocked by her message, I replied letting her know this was quite literally considered fraud...

I've been a loyal Ocean Park Ford customer for seven years and have had all my maintenance and services performed there on all my vehicles. After this experience, I will not be returning.

I completely understand that warranty and AWA decisions are not ultimately within a service advisor's control. But what is within their control is communication, follow-through, honesty, professionalism, and customer service.

To this day, I still don't know if Lacee ever appealed the original warranty denial.

I hope Ocean Park Ford takes customer communication and service more seriously, and that Lacee is able to get some classes under her belt. No customer should have to spend six months chasing updates on an issue they reported while their vehicle was still under warranty.
