Star Automatic Transmission

I've had a horrible experience dealing with Vito, I dropped my Mercedes off for a transmission issue. Vito diagnosed it and said it was the valve body in the transmission that was acting up. He said they'll have to order one from Germany. I waited a week for the " part " to come in and it was installed. They said they took the suv for a test drive and everything was good. I drove the hr there to pick up my suv to only realize the issue was still there. It was late and I had to tow the suv back home. I called him the next day he said to drop it back off. So I towed it down there again for him to tell me a need a full transmission rebuild.<br>I got a 2nd opinion and took it to another shop closer to home and they said it was the valve body, same part Vito changed.<br>I asked a price and we agreed to order another one. Upon removing the old vale body we realized it was never changed, it had the same vin # as the suv marked right on it. What they tried to do was patch the speed sensor on the valvebody and reinstall it which didn't work. They're a sealed unit and you can see where they tried to separate it repair it and plastic weld it back together. I chose this place because of the reviews and how long they've been in business. What a disappointment!
