Hasan and the Kaltire Team were a HUGE help in getting my tires swapped out! I’ve been going here for years and have no major complaints!

A highly efficient, zero-nonsense commercial tire center that actually respects a customer’s schedule and vehicle requirements. I brought my truck here for a complete set of heavy-duty all-terrain tires and a full computerized wheel alignment after installing a new set of suspension components.
The intake desk handled the work order instantly - no corporate fluff, no aggressive upselling on service packages, and no hidden environmental fees added at the last minute. The technical crew pulled the vehicle into the service bay exactly at my appointment time. I checked the torque and balancing parameters; the high-spec alignment rack was calibrated perfectly & the machine-read charts showed precise tracking adjustments on both axles. The job was finished and road-tested strictly within the promised 45-minute window. The shop layout is properly organized, floor technicians work with strict operational discipline & the final invoice matched their initial digital quotation down to the penny. If you want a luxury lounge and cheap sales pitches, look elsewhere. If you want fast vehicle turnover, honest mechanical work & clear communication, this is the best shop on Dundas St. Professional setup.

I’ve used this Kal Tire location twice. In the fall, I purchased a new set of Michelin winter tires and had an overall good experience, although my appointment was rebooked at the last minute and the vehicle was returned with dried mounting lubricant around the tires.

My second visit was for a routine seasonal tire changeover and balance - which was again cancelled last minute and rebooked. When my vehicle was returned, all four gloss black wheels had fresh scraping, stripped paint, and visible gouging around the rim lips. Similar damage appeared on all four wheels. I noticed it while still onsite because the tire-pressure monitoring system had not been properly reset and the vehicle had to return to a service bay.

The technician addressing the TPMS issue initially denied responsibility and focused on one section of one wheel. I then pointed out the same pattern across all four wheels and insisted they all be documented.

There had been no pre-service wheel inspection, no existing damage noted on the work order, and the damage was not disclosed when the vehicle was returned. When some of the gouging was suggested to be pre-existing curb damage, I later brought the rear winter tires back to show there was no corresponding sidewall or shoulder wear.

After I contacted customer service with photos and a detailed timeline, the manager arranged for all four wheels to be professionally refinished at Kal Tire’s expense. The refinishing was well done, and I appreciate that Kal Tire ultimately covered the repair.

Unfortunately, the service recovery was cold and disappointing. At pickup, I received no apology, acknowledgement of the inconvenience, or thanks for my previous business from Leon the location manager. What should have been a routine service required extensive documentation, multiple visits, another vehicle drop-off, and many hours of my time.

I would have considered returning if the issue had been handled with more empathy and a sincere apology. The wheels were restored well, but the original workmanship, lack of inspection, incomplete TPMS reset, and poor customer-care response significantly reduced my confidence in this location.
