Met Rob and Tina through the car show circuit. Had some trouble with our 1976 Cutlass and they were able to get us in without any delay. Work was done quick and price was totally fair. Rob went out of his way to explain the issues and preventative measures. South Island Performance is now our only go to for repairs and maintenance. He has now worked on all 3 of our vehicles and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else.

Rob is a very great guy that was able to take in my hot rod and fix it up the day of when I broke down on the side of the road and had it towed to his shop. He helped me get a tow truck that was one of his buddie’s that got me a good price. Great no bullshit shop. They know what they’re doing. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you have a hot rod.
Fantastic service. Came with aftermarket downpipe & front pipe that I needed to get installed on a civic, very accommodating and made sure that the parts were installed properly and even went as far to fix some issues that a previous mechanic had left for me. Could not recommend enough! Will be back.
I had a great experience with Rob and his wife (and dog) recently. He sold and installed 4 tires for me at a very fair price. I'm happy with the work and will definitely return to their shop for auto repairs and maintenance in the future.
