I had a truly awful experience at Modar Tires in Welland. My husband and I went there early Friday morning for a flat tire replacement. They charged us $150 but gave us a very old, worn-out tire. By the time I drove all the way to North York and then Mississauga, the tire went flat again—this was a very dangerous situation on the highway. After a lot of effort, we only received a partial refund, despite trying really hard. In the end, we had to pay $200 more at another shop for a proper tire. The service was completely unprofessional, and I would never trust them again. Stay far away. I would give zero stars if I can.

Also to note we met another lady who returned that same morning to get her new tires re aligned because while she was driving on the highway her vehicle started shaking due to misalignment, she did warn us prior to us leaving but we still gave the shop a chance due to the good reviews, however it’s only now I realize that this shop has new owners and all the past positive reviews are likely attributed to the past owners, either way please be very careful when getting your car serviced here.

As a business you should be ashamed for providing a faulty product and not fully refunding your client, you can clearly see it’s a very old worn out tire from the pictures. The rental company we got the car from was in Welland as well, so you are very wrong in your statement.

I had to go to work that morning in Toronto and by the time I left your shop and went to Toronto the tire was FLAT. I DID NOT hit any curb, which resulted me to having an emergency tire replacement. You guys are dishonest, and not customer service friendly. I will warn everyone about your business practices . You guys are spoiling the good reputation this shop once had. YOU ARE THE SCAMMER!

Called them for a price. They said would call me back. Never called back. Crazy.

I had a damaged rim on my car. I brought Modar a replacement and they switched out the rim in a very timely manner. I was very pleased with the customer service and the price to fix it. Thanks Modar

Just got change of winter tyres to all season tires from them in my CRV. Work has been done professionally. Fully satisfied and will definitely visit them again. Thank you.
