Body work claim resulted in a punched out radio and blown transmission

Take extreme caution allowing this location to perform any work on your vehicle, took mine for insurance work was told it was done and showed up to dirt/dust in the paint, dirt/dust with in the clear coat, leaving bumps protruding from the surface of paint, also found where an air bubble was in paint and popped leaving a small area of bare primer or metal that they just sealed in with clear coat, also had body filler put on that was not sanded down and left with waves in it, aswell tons and tons of orange peel texture in clear coat, and rust coming through there paint before even leaving the property, “if I was paying out of pocket this would have never left”

I pointed this out to the shop and both the manager and head body guy came to look at it and told me they don’t get paid enough by insurance to do it all, aswell was told if your car has rust they are not paid to fix it but just to paint over it, they both then got very hostile and aggressive, started arguing with me that I don’t know anything and they have 40 years experience on me and asking what experience I have and that they are professionals, I told him the work done will have my pint rusting and peeling with in a week if it rains, he told me yes 100% it will we arnt paid to do the full thing, he continued to argue with me yelling names at me cussing at me and telling me I’m a scammer trying to scam them and insurance when all I wanted was actual professional work done,

Insurance instructed I do not take the car leave it there and get back in my rental and leave, doing so I had them yell at me again that they won’t be doing anything but buff it out and any extra work I’ll be charged for aswell they will charge me for rental, when I returned again my perfectly working touchscreen radio now has a broken screen and won’t even play sound and looks to be broken from impact, then a week latter my transmission blows as I’m just peacefully driving, I have no idea what these guys have done with my vehicle but all I know is the result of leaving my vehicle with them has ended in there extremely aggressive and unprofessional behaviour, and my truck now sitting dead in my driveway with a broken screen witch they also took no responsibility for and just said oh sorry to bad about it, if anyone is truly a scammer here it’s most deffently them

They also lied to my insurance saying my brake line that broke in the accident broke from rust, meanwhile I had them replaced 2 years ago and still have factory paint on them nice and shiny, according to them they told my insurance my brake lines are covered in rust and denied the repairs and told me to deal with it my self

In my opinion this shop and employees are a joke and give all other auto body shops a very bad rep aswell as car star, I know I will never use car star my self again, oh and funny enough carstar headquarters are all radio silence no awnser so no response no calls

Oh and where they buffed my paint they just burnt the bumps down so you can see the dark spots of what was the bump now just burnt in the paint
