I had my Toyota Grand Highlander detailed today. It looks like a brand new car. Carpets completely cleaned, seats, dash, everything looks spectacular. Outside of the car is also sparkling clean! This is our second time back at Unique Auto Detailing in Stouffville and we will be back. Raheem did an amazing job. Would recommend going to this great spot in Stouffville. We live in Goodwood and still go down to Stouffville. THANK YOU!!!

We decided to protect our brand new GLC 300 and made arrangements to bring it to Unique Auto Detailing Corp.

We had a neighbouring shop install running boards on our car and the vehicle was passed on directly to Michael from that shop, upon going to give Michael a deposit for the work he was going to do I had noticed five distinctive chips on the front bumper, I informed Michael and he said “how does a car with 100km have stone chips?” I knew full well these were not stone chips and further noticed damage to the two front fender flares. Neither shops took responsibility for the damage and neither shop reported prior damage to the car before accepting delivery of it. In the end we had to pay over 2K to fix the damages. This was the beginning of our nightmare.

In lapse of better judgement, we still proceeded with the work with Michael and we would take the car to get the damages fixed and bring it back for him to complete. He had the vehicle for a month and in that time we noticed some red flags, as he never wrote anything down, and there was some disagreements on the certain things we discussed that we wanted done. The car was not ready when it was supposed to be, but due to family issues on his part, we were okay with that. On the day prior to us pick up, we noted on the GPS that the car was moved to another location in the area. We were never informed that our car would be moved and or taken somewhere else. Once we finally did come to get the car, there were inconsistencies in the progress of work and we pointed out black portions of the car were scuffed and poor workmanship of the PPF (bubbling, lifting, stretching and dirt underneath). Michael stated the scuffs were there when we brought it in and that the other things would correct itself once the car was driven. This is incorrect. At this point, we knew we would not be bringing the car back and asked what we owed to release the car, paid him and left. Throughout this process, we expressed to him how much stress this was causing and even questioned him on if he had done this type of work before as the work spoke for itself.

On the drive home, we noticed the interior coating was blotchy and a distinct line where the seatbelt was never moved. A poorly done job.

The following day and in better lighting, we further inspected the work and we noticed knife marks on the side mirrors. More poor work and another expense to replace.

We brought the car to a couple other places to find out what it would cost to fix what had been done. At this point, we are out 5K in money and now have to pay another shop to remove and redo the work

In light of this, we decided to give Michael a chance to rectify this situation and his part in the matter. We arranged a time to meet and after we came to his shop, he had some excuse as to why he was not there. We decided to show up unannounced this past Monday, March 9 so he couldn't avoid us. We remained cordial and advised him of the issues and concerns we had and how as a business owner he would rectify the situation. While he never showed any sympathy or offered an apology and most of our concerns were met with smirks and smart remarks, he did offer to fix our seats but at this point the trust we had in him was long gone. In good conscience, we could not bring back our car to someone with such poor quality work and lack of trust and a general excuse for everything, so we asked what type of compensation he thought fair. He advised that he could not give us an answer at this time and needed to discuss it with his wife. This statement did not make sense to us as we never met his wife, nor did we have any idea how she was involved in his day-to-day business. We obliged and said take until the end of the week and advise us what you have decided. It is now Sunday; March 15 and we never received a reply from Michael. Disappointed none-the-less and posting this along with photos to warn others. Update: Never received a reply to this day.

Such a great experience from start to finish! It was easy to book (and rebook in my case as I had a scheduling conflict). Drop off was quick, everyone I dealt with was super friendly. End result was fabulous - I have a brand new car it feels. They were able to get out all my salt stains and the kid mess in the back seats. Windows are sparkly.. it’s all A+ would highly recommend

This car detailing place is absolutely hands-down the best!! Our van was absolutely disgusting after young kids having destroyed it over the years but after we had to do a few dump runs during our basement renovations we were in desperate need of a good clean. The unique auto detailing Corp team was finished the van looked brand new, see for yourself. I am beyond blown away!
