I have been going to CSR Automotive for 13 years now. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. When my TCM went on an old car, not only did they prioritize fixing my car but filled my car with gas & detailed the interior of my car, something so thoughtful I will never forget. They provide a “report card” for all the aspects of your car whenever it is brought in for service, which is always an absolute treat to review, and incredibly user friendly. They are always accommodating to organize transport if I have to leave my car at the shop for an extended period of time. And the price is never surprising. As a young woman with little car knowledge they never price-gouge me and I am always treated with kindness and respect. I always enjoy having conversations with Ryan & Terry! Even if I moved provinces, I would commute back to take my vehicle here. They have a customer for life!

Took my car there months ago for a safety inspection a wheel noise diagnosis. They quoted me over 3500 dollars and said the rotor was wrong. When it was inspected elsewhere the brake pad was not installed properly within the bracket and the tone ring which came bolted to the aftermarket hub it had installed was loose.

It was a 0 dollar repair and the car passed safety with only 3 minor repairs. Other people I worked with had a similar experience so I know it's not a one off.

I said that the other shop did do some repairs, they just didn't quote everything because they know what they are doing.

You quoted the rotor as wrong and that was completely false and incorrect, you said it didn't seat on the hub, it's a VW and they seat with the lugs.

You did a wheel off inspection and didn't notice a bent brake pad bracket within the caliper. A first year apprentice would notice that, an experienced technician missing that is a joke dude. Don't act like the other shop was full of hacks when you can't even notice broken brakes.

Terrific service and fantastic staff. My brakes and tie rods started to fail just before our holiday. I dropped the van off at CSR and they called a few days later telling me it was all fixed.
Terry keeps it all moving from from his control center up front. Quick, efficient and on time. It feels like home every time I go for any repairs. !!!!
